The office for Social Justice and Life works with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to bring the global work of our Church to the Diocese of Erie. As stated in their mission, CRS carries out the commitment of the Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas. The Gospel of Jesus Christ motivates them to cherish, preserve and uphold the sacredness and dignity of all human life, foster charity, and justice, and embody Catholic social and moral teaching.
